Let him be heard!

I have the most insane cravings for Carl’s Jr. It’s the onions, I love those big onions on the burgers. That, and jalepeno poppers and pepperoni pizzas. I had Carl’s Jr. for dinner tonight. After I ate, I had the worst cramps ever. This isn’t normal, it happened alot during my first trimester, probably due to my growing and stretching uterus. So tonight, I took advantage of my bathtub and soaked for a good 20-30 minutes, trying to relax my growing belly. It felt gooood. And when I got out of the tub, the hubby massaged my belly. And he leaned down and listened to the baby. Normally he only hears swooshing, if the baby’s awake. Sometimes he hears nothing at all. Well, tonight, was different, because he heard the heartbeat. This was pretty big. We usually only hear the heartbeat (and boy is it strong), at the doctor’s office. Tonight he heard it without anything to help him. There was even TV noise in the background to make it difficult for him to hear. But no, he heard the baby. I’m so jealous. I wanna hear my baby! Yes, tonight was a big deal. I’m happy. Hubby can’t stop grinning from ear to ear. And in 5 weeks I get to know the baby’s gender get a confirmation that it’s a boy. This is happening so fast, I can’t believe it.

18 weeks and feeling constantly full

My pregnancy has been very uneventful, in terms of the actual baby his/herself. In terms of mommy and daddy, we got married on 4/7/08!That was probably the best day in my life, the next being when the baby is born. I haven’t felt the baby kick except for that one time, but the doctor said that’s normal. Hopefully I’ll feel him in the next few weeks. I’ll get to know if it’s boy or a girl in 4 weeks, but I’m pretty sure it’s a boy. I feel constantly full, the baby is definitely stretching me out. I still can’t fit into maternity clothes, and I wish the baby would hurry up and grow so I can just buy some clothes that are actually comfortable already.

Growing, Growing, Growing

I’m getting so big! 17 weeks along, and people are finally able to see the hints of a bump outside my clothes!

Can’t believe its 16 weeks already

Geez, I can’t even fit some of my t-shirts anymore. Pretty soon I’ll have to buy maternity clothes! Can’t believe it’s already going by so quick.

Kicking already!

I think I felt the baby kick last night. It didn’t feel like butterflies in the stomach like everyone says they feel like, it felt like someone was poking me or pushing very gently on the inside of my tummy. At first I thought it was bubbles in my stomach, from the pineapple pepperoni and japeleno pizza I ate for dinner, but then I thought, my stomach is sitting up higher and normally bubbles occur in the middle of the stomach, not on your sides. So then I started poking back, thinking if it is the baby, I’ll keep feeling it. And I did for a few more minutes, but then he must have fallen asleep because it stopped. It was pretty cool to think that was him.

The baby’s name is Watermelon

The doctor says I have a small pelvis, and to expect a c-section when I’m ready to deliver. Because at this rate, chances are he’s going to be a big baby like his daddy.
